Dr. Ir. Mohammad Rohmanuddin, MT., mendapat diploma DESS – Informatique dari l’Institut de l’Université de Sains et Medicale de Grenoble, Prancis serta doctor dari Instrumentasi dan Kontrol, ITB.
Sejak dari bangku kuliah sampai kini setelah pensiun sebagai dosen ITB, beliau sudah berkecimpung dalam pemograman komputer, mulai dari menjalankan program komputer di 16K inti (utama) memori komputer generasi kedua IBM-1401 sampai pada kompetensinya kini di bidang Fuzzy Logic / Intelligent Control System & Programming.
Selain pernah aktif di ITB dan UteM (Universiti Teknikal Malaysa), beliau juga aktif dalam kegiatan research dan mempublikasikannya dalam banyak judul buku, serta aktif dalam memberikan training kepada perusahaan-perusahaan besar seperti : Pertamina, Vico, Badak NGL, Total E&P Indonesie, Pupuk Kaltim, Pupuk Sriwijaya, Pupuk Iskandar Muda, Chevron, dan lain-lain, di bidang :
