Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) sebagai salah satu alternatif transportasi gas alam telah berkembang menjadi industri yang cukup matan dan bernilai ekonomi tinggi. Industri ini memiliki beberapa tingkat rantai nilai yaitu eksplorasi dan produksi, pencairan, transportasi, serta penyimpanan dan regasifikasi. Bisnis LNG mengalami perubahan yang sangat dinamis dan kritikal seiring dengan perkembangan suplai dan permintaan energi dunia yang meningkat tajam.
